My Pet Pals was founded in 2013. It is owned

and operated by Diane Stuercke, a pet sitter

with 18 years of professional experience.

Diane co-founded Bloomington Pet Pals Inc

in southern Indiana in 2005. The business went

on to be named national pet sitters of the year

in 2008. In 2013, she returned to her home in

northern Illinois to be closer to family and open

a second pet sitting business.

With My Pet Pals, we come to your home to take care of your pets in their own, comfortable environment. They get their normal food and stay on schedule. We also provide plenty of play time for those who want it. For others, a quiet time cuddling is what they need and we are happy to give them the affection they want. We also provide mid-day dog walks for people who can't get home at lunch to let their buddy out, or who may be late getting home. A well-exercised dog is less likely to become bored and destructive.

We structure our business to provide you with the type of service we would want for our own animals. Since starting, we've begun working with several veterinarians and animal authorities to learn all we can about pet behavior, training basics, recognizing potential health risks and current issues in pet care.
